What Time Is Check-In And Check-Out?
Check-In
Check-in time is 2.00pm. We understand that you may arrive into Rotorua earlier and whilst we will endeavour to have your room ready, this may not always be possible. You are welcome to relax in our lounge area with a welcome drinks and we can store any luggage whilst making your room a priority.
Check-Out
We respectfully request you check out of your room by 10.00am. We are more than happy to store your luggage whilst your wait in our comfortable lounge for your onward transportation. Subject to availability and notice, we may be able to offer an extension to the Check-Out time, but this is dependent on guest arrivals. Please enquire with our friendly front office team upon Check-In if you require a late Check-Out.
What Is On The Point's Cancellation Policy?
Please note our cancellation policy, cancel within 30 days of arrival and a 25% charge will apply, cancellation within 7 days or for no shows, the total cost of the stay will be charged. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance be taken to cover unforeseen circumstances.
Is On The Point A Pet-Friendly Lodge?
Whilst we do have petting animals on the property, alas we are not able to provide a bed for your furry friends.
Does On The Point Offer Any Accessible Rooms?
We do offer one ground floor accessible room. This lakeview lodge suite, has an accessible shower and a ramp for ease of access.
Do I Need To Pre-Book My Accommodation?
It is recommended that in the height of our season September through to April, school holidays and public holidays that you pre-book to avoid any disappointment.
What Are The Options To Eat And Drink While At On The Point
We have a wonderful team of Chefs and our restaurant "The Mains" offers a breakfast, lunch and a la carte menu. We cater to all dietaries. There is a comprehensive beverage menu which offers international and NZ wine selections. We can offer room service and picnics and lunch can be arranged with prior notice.

Is Parking Available At The Lodge?
Whilst we are a small boutique property, there is parking available as close to your accommodation as possible and this is free of any charges.
